We were thrilled with their service from assisting with getting contractors to prep house for sale in a timely manor to answering all our questions. Professional, organized, and highly competentIncluding Scott, we interviewed two REALTORS® when we were looking at selling our home. From that first conversation until our house closed, Scott was professional, organized, and highly competent. Scott’s marketing plan helped sell our home quickly (I believe we were under contract within 11 days of listing the home).
My wife and I moved out of state during the selling process, which added a level of complexity to the process. Scott was able to coordinate and oversee the repairs required through the negotiations from the inspection. Scott was also great about staying in communication with us, which helped give some peace of mind knowing that he was present in KC and doing everything required to make sure things were completed.
Although I can’t say anything negative about our experience with Scott, the only time we had to reach some compromise was through the negotiation process. In my experience this has been normal in the home buying/selling process and it doesn’t affect my ability to commend Scott to you 100% as the realtor you want to work with. My wife and I agree that he will be our realtor of choice if we are ever back in Kansas City.

Truly Customer-Oriented and CaringScott and Kim did an outstanding job marketing and selling our home. This was our third home sale, and by far the best service and care we have experienced. Scott and Kim are truly customer oriented and caring. If we move back to the KCMO area, we will contact Scott to purchase a home. We were out of town during the entire process. We contacted Scott from Dave Ramsey’s website. I flew in, met with Scott at the house, and we went from there. He did an excellent job leading us through the process of getting the home ready to list. While we were out of town he coordinated getting the interior and exterior painted, and other needed repairs as well. He provided regular updates and always answered our questions. Scott is a Mentor, Friend, and Our Forever REALTOR®I am so grateful that Scott Vulgamott was our REALTOR®. As newlyweds, first time home buyers (and although we didn’t know it at the the parents-to-be, to twins) Scott took us under his wing. Treated us like his own children. In every property he was quick to point out the positives and the negatives. He was so honest and helpful.
We were anxious to get into a home quickly and Scott respected that. In fact, he went above and beyond showing us 12 houses scattered all over the Kansas City area, from Liberty to Parkville he showed us everything in our price range… in one day.
We finally settled on a sweet move in ready raised ranch. Negotiations were in the works while my husband was at work. As a first time home buyer I was very nervous to decide on price and negotiate alone, however, Scott was there for me every step of the way. He even prepared the documents and drove 45 mins into the city to obtain my husband’s signature. Now, as I said, we were newlyweds, first time home buyers. We didn’t have a lot to offer. When the mortgage company low balled us, Scott, was quick to suggest someone else and we got a better rate.
It doesn’t stop there. Months after living in our home in the dead of winter we had trouble with the pipes. Our basement was flooding, as a pregnant and inexperienced home owner I wasn’t sure who to contact. My parents were out of the country. My husband at work. Although the sale was finalized months prior, I called Scott. He immediately suggested he come over. I was too embarrassed to accept his offer, so instead he gave me multiple trust worthy contacts who were at my aid within the hour.
Did I mention it doesn’t stop there? Throughout my pregnancy I was very ill. Scott and his wife Kim would stop by with Gatorade and Get well cards. And when my pregnancy took a turn for the worst, they visited me in the hospital bringing gifts, cupcakes and well wishes.
After my six week hospital stay on bed rest and an emergency cesarean section later we delivered premature twins. They had a two month stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Sending support via text message or email Scott was sure to let us know we were always on his mind. For us, Scott became a mentor, a friend and our forever REALTOR®.
